Blog Rules?

Via The Poor Mouth, I found out about the latest topic of concern amongst some bloggers: yes, someone has dared to propose that we manage the borders of blogging to discourage the nasties in our midst.

I'm not sure how workable the idea is, but really, certain comments against this seem to be legitimising some of the vile behaviour that has led to stalking convictions. And I fail to see how that can be positive.

Food for thought.

Um, have you nothing to do at work today? Three posts in a matter of minutes.

Vacation, vacation, vacation.

Even if I was at work this week, it's actually a University holiday anyway today (two days off instead of one).

As it is I'm at home as I have stupid amounts of holiday entitlement I have to take or I lose them. Not helped by my contract still being unrenewed. if I had a longer contract I would have happily worked this week (Wed-Friday).

Yes, I know, more holidays.... Sorry 'bout that Joe...
