Opening Line: 10 July 2006

It’s that time again when I lose my friends, go walkabout, I’ve got the bends from pressure

Any takers?

UPDATE: Stu_N has spotted the culprits (see comments)

At least I think that's the right link for him...

Come Home, Come Home, Come Home (dodgy trumpet break).

James, of course.

Grand work!

Saw James in Nottingham at Rock City at the height of their t-shirt sales and they were breathtaking.

Ah, I missed that gig, but I was in Nottingham at the time. I think I knew about a dozen people who had the long-sleeve hoodie T-shirt with "COME' down one arm and 'HOME' down the other. They all had Inspiral Carpets T-shirts too.

You got my link right. Currently featuring my thoughts on Doctor Who series 2!

My favourite band in the world. Saw them 4 times in 8 days on thier last tour. Ironic that they broke-up just as all thier contemporaries started talking about reunion tours and comebacks.

I had that inspirals t-shirt until recently I think...

Rock City and me had a good relationship in those heady days! Last on the dance floor, wigging out to Kennedy (Pressies), I am the Resurrection (Roses) and Come Home (James). Hair soaked, eyes closed, dancing like a woman possessed.

Oh yeah, and I have some great pics of James in HMV Nottingham, including a cracker of Tim B supping his cuppa and making eye contact with me just as I focued the shot. He didn't half grin when I pulled the camera down. Good times.

And whaddya mean dodgy trumpet?! Andy D now plays with the mighty mighty Fatman himself, David Thomas and is close to genius.

The trumpet wasn't dodgy, but that trumpet break definitely was! Sounds like an ambulance in a traffic jam.

Playing with the Elephant Terrible now, you say? Interesting! Last saw him doing the main musical narrator role in Shockheaded Peter. Bloody hell, that was scary. He was wearing a very worrying red rubber apron.

That red rubber apron sure sounds like David T!
