Actually, I met Eddie Izzard which is brilliant, but I've got total false memory syndrome re. this meeting. I think of him as being surly and standoffish and apparantly he was lovely and when someone rang his mobile, even asked them to call him back later cos he was talking to us....
Cool people I have met...? Hmmm... I guess what one person thinks of as cool, another may be utterly unimpressed with. My friend met Eddie Izzard and he signed her programme in a lip pencil 'cos it was all they had on each other to use (she hadn't gone prepared). I'm still pretty wowed by the small number of occasions I've met Douglas Henshall, but I guess that isn't really a name most people would be impressed by - though darvit they should be! Discussing "six degrees of separation" yesterday my partner suggested that he would choose our friend Nick Matthews for most people to connect through, and though he then suggested me for the theatre/music professions, I actually think my friend Helen Lisette would be better as she works in a theatre/music venue. Then again, it's a big venue so lots of stuff doesn't hit her radar there, so indie/obscure would probably be me...

Woman, you post *far* too much!
And this from the person who creates scenarios of her attempts to 'force' blog visitors to comment by the threat of being smiled at by DT...
...OK, true. Sorry :(
Awh, I was only teasing! It just made me giggle when I thought of your encouragement/threats to commment on your posts!!!
We love it really!
You're great!
DT smiling - where do we go for a DT smile?
I wanna meet someone cool!
