Cheltenham (Rosby): won promotion (as she eloquently put it on Struggling Author's blog:
Are you kidding me? Cardiff is 100% lovely?
And do you know why?
Because Cheltenham played there yesterday.
Cheltenham got promoted yesterday.
YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

Millwall (Reidski): relegation
Nottingham Forest (Paulie/me): failed to make play-offs
Tell me: there seems some uneven-ness in the distribution of success and misery amongst bloggers linking to this site... am I imagining it? Am I wishing too much success for others and not enough for my own team? And how to explain poor Reidksi's boys getting demoted? Is that accounted for by Millwall not being his first team to support (since I am assumming that the Lions were adopted on arrival in London and not in Scotland...?)

If it makes you feel better Lisa you may be about to gain a very gorgeous Scottish manager. Unfortunately WE may be about to lose one matching that description.
*Goes away to kick her cat.*
Really REALLY sorry about that...

Easy, they were atrocious! Lowest point being midweek game against Sheff Wed when Wed keeper went off injured before half time and they didn't have replacement on bench. Defender goes between the sticks and doesn't have a save to make for the rest of the match. Midway through the second half, we put ball into net and players and fans celebrate going 1-0 up. Meanwhile, ref has ruled it out. Wed players swiftly go up field as our players are celebrating in front of our fans. Wednesday score - they go 1-0 up and win game. Totally depressing!
My weekends last season were of joy at Celtic's stroll to the title mixed with anger and disappointment at the rubbish going on at the New Den. Oh, and of course there was also the excitement of Northampton going up ...
And, yes, adopted the Lions 18 years ago when I moved to sunny south London - at that time, the forward line consisted of Cascarino and Sheringham and they were a delight to watch!

Ah yes, THOSE were the days!

You have to bear in mind that any happiness I may have in my sporting choices is offset by being the a member of the SPGB.
Reidski thinks he's got it bad. He doesn't know the first thing about suffering . . .
Horns!!!!!!!!! :-)
