Hang on, surely someone who's homophobic is a victim and we should sympathise with his plight while he fights his demons and seeks closure and all that tripe? If not, why not?

"Being" homophobic is much the same as "being" homosexual, it is a condition (or so I'm told!) Surely you can *be* anything, it is what you *do* that is a possible subject for moralising.
