The three key events of Summer Sundae 2009

There will be a fuller review - with pictures should I be able to prise them from Cloud's camera! - but suffice to say that Múm on Friday were an ethereal highlight, David Thomas Broughton then looked to be the lunatic soundscape highlight of the festival, but ultimately the utter delirium that was Monotonix threw us all into shock.

As the t-shirt says "where were you when it happened": a Houston newspaper described their live experience thus:
If there was a spectrum on which every shade of chaos was ranked hierarchically, you would have to peg a Monotonix show somewhere to the left of total, complete and utter mayhem.
That would be about the size of it!

More, MUCH more on the whole Summer Sundae experience later!
