Come on, there must be someone due to go away who would relish a house-sitter for a week to meet an appeal for help so that Clare can get some quality time with her writing. Or someone with a spare property (well, that's perhaps less likely)... Or just a quiet space to rent for a week, preferably for less than the heart-attack inducing 400 smackers everything quotes at this time of year.
