Opening Line: 11 September 2006

"There's nothing to do so you just stay in bed"

Artiste?! Song title!?

UPDATE: yes, we are speaking in the future (not a song line link but can I refer people to the wonderful album by Saloon "If we meet in the future"? It's really lovely.

And congrats to Billy!

I don't know, but will get Billy to have a look: His knowledge of music is second to none. Largely I'm just concerned that I may have lost a few days. Are you really speaking to us from five days in the future?

Corin, it's Pulp.

When I read these I just hear wasps buzzing around my head.

Lisa, have you ever thought about writing your own lyrics? (serious, as I think I could use them)

Oooh Catherine, what an offer to my poetic urges!

I'm rubbish at these, Lisa, so I'm going to try a new game - a rhyme with the line you've posted. So here's one that only works in the UK. Apologies to our friends over the Atlantic. Here's my rhyme to the first line...

"You can eat some pot noodle and read the A-to-Z"

"Z" not "zee" innit! How's that for cunning regional authenticity, eh?

Like "A Zed and Two Noughts"...

Again, one wonders how that reached an American audience...
