Bah! Blogger and its black holes!Right, back again to comment for the second time. That's lovely Lisa. There's something lovely and nostalgiotastic about colour photos from the late 60s and early 70s. Is it something to do with the print process maybe? My mum has one of me at my grandmother's old house (long since demolished). I've got an orange cardigan on with red shorts and a white T-shirt. The thing that I really loved when I saw it recently was the stairs behind me in the picture. They had a red carpet going up the stairs, held in place with some sort of odd brassy clips, that looked (including size) and reminded me of dog's paws. You could see them clearly in the picture. You know what? As soon as I saw it I had a flashback to going up those stairs on all fours: certain threadbare steps on the red carpet; the intense steepness of them; the sound of my hands and feet on the steps (like that noise that Scooby Do and Shaggy make when they start to run and they are hovering in the air with their legs in a blur).Isn't that strange - the detail - because other memories from that time are really dim and vague now. I must have been about four.I think that it is wonderful that you were purple even then.
Nice shot Lisa. Is that a Peggy book you have open there?
It's not, but it does look a bit arty! Even then you see, even then. I'm mostly proud of my clothes sense actually, especially - as mentioned - the purple legs!
Awh Lisa, only just looked at the pic! So cute and so cool :) Really love the look of your little outfit. Garment-wise I mean actually, but your pals look pretty swell too! :))
