The annoying thing is I have to honour those kinds of things, unless I fancy screwing over the sender and never getting anything out of them again. They pop up when you least expect them, too (and just to prove that Doctor Who has a lot to answer for, that's esteemed IT journalist Guy Clapperton writing. I think he used to write for the fanzine Skaro during the 80s. He certainly seems to know his Doctor Who, judging by his comments on the freelance journalist's mailing list).
Of course, we don't have to worry about them if it's possible for people to come to the information through some other route, which was handy in this instance...
