So this is weird. Like rifling through someone's drawers while they're away...
For those of you who don't know me, I am the aforementioned Anna, a relatively new blogger who's currently feeling like she's just been invited to sit in the Staff Room and is excited but also nervous about knocking over the spider plant in the corner. As the lovely Lisa has explained, I've been invited to babysit for a time while she's away living the high life in NZ (!) so, armed with Kipper The Dog DVDs - the thinking person's children's TV show - here I am.
That's perhaps enough extended metaphors for one post, so I'll jump back to my own blog until Lisa actually leaves. Until then, say your teary goodbyes, and I'll be back with Dr. Who info and my feet on the furniture very soon... ;)

Yeah!
Great intro...
Yes, yes, welcome and all that, but please, I beg of you, whilst she is away, no more questionnaires, 'memes' (whatever they are?), 'tags' (whatever they are, too!) or any sort of favourites lists.
I tried to explain to "Just Jane", that in a very deep, meaningful and fundamental way (as my vicar probably puts it, if I ever went to listen to him) no-one gives a rat's arse about long lists of likes and dis-likes - unless they are their own! (My friendly comment was wiped, can't think why.)
And if, in this oasis of tranquility whilst our gracious hostess is away, you could see your way to keeping this a 'Scotch actors free zone', I would be very grateful.
Heck, do anything you want, that's why Lisa asked you over.
The new Dr. Who just started over here. Must say I'm rather dissapointed. The first episode - plastics? And the good Doctor just standing there waiting for the girl to rescue him? Come on! You'd never catch Tom Baker or Jon Pertwee standing around in the arms of a bad guy waiting for help!
Good grief, 'joeinvegas', haven't you got enough crap on your American TV without watching our as well?
Still, if there really is a shortage 'over there', we have buckets of it 'over here' and you're welcome to it. Hands across the Atlantic, and all that sort of thing!
It'll grow on you, Joe - he's pretty gutsy eventually :)
Well *I* would be very grateful if she made it very much a Scotch Actor zon, so that's one vote apiece...
Maybe we should all swap around while Lisa's in NZ? I could do Holy Hoses, MediumRob could do Struggling Author, Hoses Rob could do The Medium Is Not Enough... Would anyone notice? There'd still be a lot of pictures of David Tennant floating about.
But who would do me?

Haha, brilliant image. Tell you what, let's put the spider plant up on that high shelf over there, out of harm's way. Here we go...
Oh fuck!
Er. Argh. Can someone help me scoop all this earth off the staffroom carpet?
Oh dear.
Heehee. Nothing compares to the fear a kid feels on having to knock at the Staff Room door.
