Great specs. Are you having my annoying problem of having to take your glasses off when you're reading and then put them back on for the telly? I am resisting varifocals with all my might, but I fear I am doomed, doomed, doomed...

They're for reading and computer work - but not for TV... (go figure). I do have to watch it when I look around or stand up though. And I really do wish I had better typing skills... looking at the keyboard is a bit wibbly as well!

They look great Lisa.

Reidski also succumbed to reading glasses for the first time last week. I haven't seen them yet - can't see him at all due to this weather :-(

Awh JJ that sucks! Keep using the technology to keep in touch. And you'll enojy it all the more when you DO see him...

"Wibbly" Oh Lisa, do go tell the optician if they remain like that for too long. Big hug

Yes, as JJ says, had to get them. Not vain in any way, but felt a bit weird - as in a kind of "shit, my body is collapsing" way. But, of course, my body, probably like yours, remains a temple!

On a serious note, only noticed it in the last couple of weeks how difficult it has been to focus when reading on Tube/train on way to and from work. So my seven quid was well spent!

Recently got new ones myself, which have made a huge difference. One of my eyes is permanently slighty blurry owing to a corneal defect (not enough to be worth operating), and the other had had a lens that was quote a bit too strong. With the right lenses for both eyes I can see things better and get less tired.
