According to Cloud my blog is that of an ESTP - a doer.
Hmmm. So how to explain that a Myers-Brigg test earlier this year came up with me as an ENFJ? [Note: it actually came up with me as an INFJ but that was acknowledged as an aberation arising from my not having answered an number of questions, and the course runner coming down on the 'wrong' side.]
Extraverted feeling types seek continuity through harmonious relationships and collective values. They excel at picking up on the tone of a situation and acting accordingly, adding warmth to a cool setting or turning sour into sweet. They naturally seek to know what people do well, what they enjoy, and where and how they work. They seem to have an infinite number of acquaintances from all walks of life and are always on the lookout for people in need and those who can help out. ENFJs weave and strengthen the collective fabric of social conventions and interactions. Inclusiveness is important and they are particularly sensitive to those who are excluded.I am, at the very least, confused.
ENFJs focus on others, feeling a glow when those around them are happy, and troubled when something is amiss. They are natural cheerleaders, often expressing support, gratitude, and encouragement, and heaping praise onto those they appreciate. They take note of what is being done and what needs doing, offering their assistance wherever necessary.
ENFJs enjoy organizing group activities and tend to take their commitments seriously. In general, they are reliable and do not like to disappoint others. As team players and project leaders, they have a gift for rallying their players, focusing on what is being done right and each member's strengths. They are loyal and they expect loyalty. They carry conversations well, finding common ground with their speaker. They tend to find the correct and gracious way to respond in any given situation, no matter how tense or uncomfortable it is.
Extraverted feeling types will uphold a wide range of values, simply because shared values are what create harmony. Some will profess the importance of tough-minded logic, justice and scholarly debate because their environments have these shared values. They tend to adopt the collective values of those they love and 'belong to'.
What do you think?

Both the Resident Fan Boy and I are INTJs (although I'm a little borderline between T and F). We were done at workshops, his for work, mine for my volunteer work with a hospice about 15 years ago when this was all the rage. The leaders at my particular workshop were amazed that, with only a few exceptions, the staff and volunteers at the hospice were overwhelmingly I-types. I guess it's not that amazing, when you think about it. And it's another reason while I won't be entering into the vaccination debate here....
This brings my blog up as a ESFP (the performer)although in tests I've come up as a ISTJ (guardian / trustee)- could hardly be more different. I guess I don't write like I really am.
I did that test too.
I also got a different result from my blog from when I'd run the test 'live'. Normally ENFJ but I got a different result from the blog. "Ahah" I thought, and ran a different blog I author. Another different result.
Now I understand the voices.
Very interesting... Like so many others, my score was not the same as what I've scored when taking the M-B Type II Indicator. I'm smack-dab in the INTJ realm, but the Typealyzer cast my blog as ESTP. Go figure!
Cloud has a theory that given how quickly it comes back with an answer, it merely randomly allocates a type -- and then cleverly stores it so that it always comes back with the same answer for the same blog address.
Which would also explain why rashbre has multiple voices: you're okay dear, it's actually the programme and not you that has problems...
maybe :-)
The "blog personality test" analyses your writing style and design of your blog. This information can only be part of the expression of your personality type. Instead of personality, your blog style can be determined by your ability, time, resrouces, purpose...etc. Therefore, it is fine if your Best-fit personality type is not the same as ur blog type
