Brief SummerSundae Update

Yeah! Had a great first day, saw Now, a bit of Storm Thieves, a bit of The Buoys, was just feet away from being able to tell Richard Hawley how him and her fell in love over the Coles Corner album (sadly missed my chance!) but did see a goodly portion of his performance, saw bits of James Morrison and Liam Frost and the Slowdown Family, and a snippet of Zil, and one track of Elbow (thankfully one I've heard before!).

Main attractions were Seth Lakeman, The Blockheads featuring Phill Jupitus, and Michael Franti and Spearhead.

Sadly that meant I missed seeing Formication, Stendec, Sofalofa, and Psapp, but you can't be everywhere at a festival!

Saw Seth Lakeman suopporting Billy Bragg. He may have been very good: it was hard to tell because his sound was so appalling. yet BB's was OK, so maybe SL needs a new sound engineer.
