I'm opposed. I figure if somebody is going to be on the top court then they should at least have some experience in being a judge. It takes a lot more than book learning and presenting one side to be an impartial jurist. Get some time sitting up there, listening to both sides, reviewing both arguments, and make decisions. If a case makes it up to the Supreme Court it means that both sides have pretty good arguments, and you have to be good at listening.
