Sorry; really self indulgent I know.
Had a very cool weekend though with much nice food and trip to the cinema (twice!), so I can happily announce that Serenity is an absolute BLAST, and that Wallace and Gromit is a complete joy.
Better reviews on both will follow, but I doubt I will write as well as Casyn on Serenity (forthcoming, forthcoming, forthcoming....)

happy, happy birthday Lisa.
A gift-wrapped Dougie Henshall is in the post; Hand delivered by Neil Tennant. (We couldn't get David Tennant - his price has gone up way too much since getting the Dr Who gig.)
Have a good 'yin!
Survived another year, Lisa, well done.
Hope the day's a good one, not wasted on work or blogging or other such frivolities.
Hush my mouth.
Darren, that has to qualify as one of the best birthday wishes ever! I'm surprised you didn't hear me laughing!
And John, I long since decided that I was ignoring as much as possible the added years on my age.
Work is sadly all too rooted in the day-to-day stresses of what I do (typical: you want a light day, you get the most stressful). But I'm trying to keep chilled.
I can't even hang my Dougie Henshall photograph up as the 'lecky is due to tear my house apart this week.... Sniff.
Guess it's just blogging then. If I get chance...
Happy Birthday Lisa!!
Afraid I can't top Darren's present, but hope he arrives safe and sound, and willing to please!
Jane,
I have to say "If Only"...
Mind, that is also the title of scrummy film DH is in...
Sorry; really self indulgent I know.
Ha ha - not at all. Many happy returns - and congratulations on being still of an age that the marking of another year doesn't piss you off...;-)
Happy birthday, Lisa! Hope you had a fabulous one. ;-)
Belated birthday greetings - no doubt recovered by now!
