At last I have reached the end of (my) term: the students may finish tomorrow but I finished today. I have 4 days in from 2-5, and then 2 more days 16-17 before I go to BAAS but otherwise it's a month away from the office till 23 April. Huzzah!
Sorry for blog absence. Bit busy. And tired. Even with the long weekend I had a month ago, it feels like a long term.

A month? - A MONTH? You are not a student anymore - why do you get Spring break off? No fair!
The undergraduate year gives students a month off over Easter. I have a holiday entitlement that because my contract runs out in June (only a week after the undergraduate academic year finishes) I have to take most of it over Easter - because during the academic year we're only allowed to take 2-3 days off during the terms.
We do get extaordinarily good holiday entitlements in the UK as compared to the US and I don't under-appreciate that, but I'm more than ready for the break.
