The kitchen used to stop at the edge of the unit where the washing machine is currently (the bit of top where the kettle and sugar are used to go into a shelf alcove - the second window was actually in our old downstairs bathroom). The doors are new. The units and appliances should be going in a week on Monday...
I did see it before the building work started - am I looking at where the bathroom used to be?
ReplyDeleteBet you can't wait until it's finished.
And when you are done here you can wait a few months to recover, then start on the bedroom re-do. Can't let all the dust settle.
ReplyDeleteYep Ms Heathern, the long space is where the old bathroom used to be and the out-house where the cat ate! (we ned to find her a new shelter to eat her food in!!)
ReplyDeleteIt's looking good Rullsenberg! Don't you just love the stale smell of new plaster?!
ReplyDeleteHey Lisa, I can smell the new plaster just looking at that pic. It's all going to be absolutely gorgeous; good luck for the units going in:I really loved that part when having my work done
