Which celebrity do you not want to meet?

Because if you did, and you didn't get on, you'd be devastated. That's last Friday's Question of the Day over at Shakespeare's Sister, and it's a good one. As I couldn't find any comments from Rullsenberg Rules regulars, I thought I'd flag it up over here.

For me, the obvious one is Ben Folds. If he turned out to be a complete idiot I'd be pretty gutted. However, the fear is not in me so much that I don't want to meet him. He doesn't get away that easy.

Over to you...

I'd love to meet Donald Duck (no really, I would) He'd probably be really bad tempered and think I was a prick and the whole experience would be horrible.....so I''d cook one of his nephews (or whatever the fuck they were)until it was crispy and aromatic

Haha!
But you should give yourself more credit, I'm sure you'd get on famously... :)

Are we allowed politicians? Because I'd most not want to meet most politicians, especially our current big W. I'd probably end up in jail for spitting in his face or laughing.

Don't worry Anna, I've met Ben, he's really nice, but then, the fact that there's regular opportunities for his fans to meet him tends to imply that I guess.
Met a fair few comedians when running gigs whose material I Really like but turn out to be slightly prat-ish, and it is pretty disconcerting.

Yeah, I've gotta say that all reports seem to be that he, Jared and Lindsay are all nice. I just try to pretend they're not to make myself feel better bout not having met them... :)

i've met ben folds too, he's quite short in real life. i didn't really know what to say to him but my friend maggie invited him to a sorority formal. he gently declined.

I'm not sure there's anyone I wouldn't want to meet, but I'll tell you someone who totally sucks in person: Lou Reed. Flat out prick. Doesn't tip either.

I hope never to meet Lou Reed either then ;)

Uh-huh, Lou Reed's a grumpy bugger all right. I met him one time in the bushes outside his apartment at 2 in the morning, jeez, the guy was in such a bad mood, he smashed up my night- vision goggles & my flask of coffee & confiscated my notebook with all his movements recorded in it. Dude said he was gonna call the cops on me if I didn't quit. What?! Like, there's some sort of 'law' now against loitering around somebodys home and "harassing their family"? I'd like to see you make that stick in court, Mr Walk On The Wildy Unreasonable Side.
